Patients are able to self-refer to Physiotherapy, Talking Therapy and Podiatry Services
Physiotherapy
You can now refer yourself for physiotherapy directly, without a visit to see the GP.
Physiotherapists treat back problems, stiff or painful joints, muscle injuries or strains.
You have three options to self refer for physiotherapy treatment:
- ZoomPhysio – Online Physiotherapy service
Staffa Health uses ZoomPhysio to provide rapid online treatment for mild musculoskeletal conditions. If you’re suffering from aches or pain you can self refer to ZoomPhysio without speaking to a GP first.
If you need to be seen by a physiotherapist the ZoomPhysio online service can arrange this for you. Their physiotherapists are based within Staffa Health twice a week.
If you’re concerned about your symptoms please contact us first and we will advise on the best course of treatment.
2. First contact Physiotherapy services provided at Staffa Health, Tibshelf
If you contact us to let us know what symptoms you have we will book you an appointment with our First contact Physiotherapist who works at Tibshelf Surgery.
You can let us know your symptoms through the online request form: Contact us about your request – Accurx Patient Portal
Or call us and the receptionist will take your details and organise a referral or discussion with a GP for you.
3. Derbyshire Community Based Outpatient Physiotherapy Services
You can also self-refer to the Derbyshire-wide Community Physiotherapy Service who offer help for people with muscle, joint, and bone problems in our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment and Triage services across Derbyshire.
