Out of Hours Service
If you call the surgery out of hours you will be advised to ring NHS 111 for advice on any health problems.
It is staffed by a team of fully trained advisors, supported by experienced clinicians.
You will be asked questions to asses your symptoms. You may be given advice over the telephone. signposted to another service or asked to attend a local Out of Hours Primary Care centre to be seen. If the medical condition warrants it, a home visit will be provided.
NHS 111 Service
You can contact the NHS 111 service if you need general healthcare advice at any time of the day or night.
The NHS 111 service should be used if patients urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation.
