Advanced Clinical Practitioners
Advanced Clinical Practitioners have a general nursing or other clinical background and they have also undergone additional training which includes examination and diagnostic assessment and prescribing. They are able to examine, diagnose common conditions, order investigations, agree treatment and refer to other members of the team and hospital consultants.

Physician Associates are medically trained, healthcare professionals, who work alongside doctors and provide medical care as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Physician associates are practitioners working with a dedicated medical supervisor, but are able to work autonomously with appropriate support

Senior Clinical Pharmacists
Our Clinical Pharmacists consult with and treats patients directly. They undertake medication reviews and provide advice and support to patients who are taking multiple medicines and are managing long-term conditions.

Our Pharmacy Technicians support all members of the practice team and our patients with medication related issues or projects.

Practice Nurses
The Practice Nurses help and support patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes, Heart disease, Asthma or COPD. They carry out childhood immunisations, wound care, blood tests, cervical smears, travel vaccinations and contraceptive injections as well as a number of other services.

Practice Management
Our Practice Management Team manage the practice and its staff to ensure that appropriate quality services are available for our patients. Ruth Cater is our Practice Manager, supported closely by Clare Kirkwood, Assistant Practice Manager.

Patient Service Coordinators
Patient Service Coordinators (Reception Staff) are our front-line support for patients and the clinical team. Their role is to ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate service and deal with patients’ general enquiries.
Caron Clark manages the Reception Teams across all of our sites. Caron organises the day-to-day running of each surgery and manages a team of Patient Service Coordinators.
Administration Staff
Our team of administrative support staff have a wide range of responsibilities including the administration of patient information, rota management, training, accounts, audit, IT, HR and Health and Safety.
Clare Watts manages the administration team who deal with the administration of patient records.
