We will be operating pre-booked and drop-in clinics with no appointment needed. The clinics will be at Pilsley Village Hall, Holmewood St Alban’s Centre, Stonebroom Sports Pavilion and Tibshelf Surgery.
The risk of catching flu and possible resulting complications are known to be higher for people who are over 65 or who have certain medical conditions. If you are eligible for a flu vaccination you will receive a text message from us (or a letter if you do not have a mobile telephone number) and you are urged to accept the free annual vaccination.
This year, more than ever, we ask that you support your NHS GP surgery by booking your flu jab with us. Many people believe they are helping to ease the burden on the surgery by having their vaccination done elsewhere, but seasonal vaccinations generate valuable income on which we rely. This income enables us to continue offering the services that we provide and we encourage you to support us in our Flu vaccination campaign.
